I'm completely out of balance, 1962, 1984, 1989, 1990 and 2008 for the 5 bands in question, all relitively obvious. Needs sorting out really, makes me look really stubborn and old fashioned.

i never got round to listening to these guys , but i've always noticed the positive comments on here. seems a shame that i'm probably gonna start liking their music too late

Bad times. I agree with what Fergal said, Courteeners having another band before hand wouldn't sound right. Like the Liverpool gig, well the 1st night anyway.

I can't really imagine a courteeners tour with any other band but IAB supporting.
Now they'll probably end up with some act that the label has arranged, like Ida Maria.
I wonder if there is a band in the pipe line to be the IAB figure of future tours?

i think if i was in a band i wouldnt do it for more than one tour, it feels like too much of a leg up.
