Hmm, my mind just went back to that bulletin Liam posted a few months ago. I remember him saying something along the lines of, "see you at T in the Park, Leeds/Reading and maybe somewhere else". This could have been what he was getting at? But, yeah Ant, I mean if they do a one off then its a bonus! Bloody hope they do mind ...

That's it mate, surely it doesn't matter when they do a gig, because we can almost guarentee that it would be good, so I hope they do, will be amazing.

For only if my Dads mate knew te manager ey. Sweet stuff, must have all the song written then, just a case of picking the best 12 or so. Must say actually, I'd like to see a slightly bigger album, like 14 or 15 tracks maybe. If they are starting now then I'd imagine that recording will be done by Xmas, January looking good.

nice, I know that everyone is thinking ideally that a 2 disc album would be ace, but I don't want that, rather have just the best 14 on an album, then save others for B-sides etc. White Album by The Beatles would have been remembered as there best IMO if they just made it a single album and picked the best songs off it, so don't see anything like this happening yet.

I agree that a 2 CD album isn't the way to go and I'd like around 12-14 tracks but we'll have to wait and see.
After reading the speculation about future gigs I hope they do a couple around Christmas but I'm not expecting a tour until early 2010 like Liam said in one of those interviews he did at TITP.
We need Liam to give us some updates!

Message from Liam,
Salutations cutting lawn.
I hope this finds you in mediocre health. Good health means you can't be having that good a time.
Speaking of Good Times (great song), a very large congratulations and thank-you to the 15,000 who were in the King Tut Tuts Wah-Wah Tent at T in the Park.
It honestly was one of the best gigs we've ever done. Apart from the 2 gigs in Liverpool, we haven't played our own show on home soil since last October - which is the longest we've gone without the thing we love the most you made it worth the wait. Absolutely fucking amazing atmosphere in there, as good as Glastonbury last year, if not better.
Good Times and Sycophant sounding big, even better on record. We've been demoing heavily, beavering away. We've got loads of songs, so many songs, more songs than you can sing. It's the selection process now, then off to record proper in a week. I can't divulge anything more, other than you will fucking love it!
If you're going to Leeds and Reading, come and sing your hearts out with me.
Peace, Love and cup of tea
x

Sweet stuff mate. He writes one hell of a letter does our Liam, one to be proud of. 15,000 in that tent, that is colosal! Didn't think that it fit that many but that's ace to hear so.
I'd assume that the first line 'salutations cutting lawn' is a parody of the line in 'Cemetry Gates', that flowery language stuff. Very clever Liam (if this was intended).
