Spending - rubbish money is ruining football...
Michael Owen to Man u - I hope he does well, think he's a nice fella and feel a bit sorry for him.
Liverpool winning the title - don't know but I hope so..
And I hope for the sake of not having a grumpy boyfriend and an upset dad that Boro get promoted! If they stay down (which I think they will) I think we may have tears!!

yh the sooner the bubble bursts and all the money fucks off the better. tbh i'm embarassed that we're signing michael owen. the great man utd armed with £80m and we sign an overrated and overpriced valencia and a has-been. Kleberson, Djemba-Djemba and Bellion spring to mind.
still don't reckon the scousers will win the league. they're gonna have even less strength in depth and benitez just isn't consistent enough. the bloke's nuts.
I wouldn't be surprised if the chelskis won it tbh

I think that as usual United start big faves, but can see Chelsea being the main contenders looking at the people Liverpool are supposed to be selling and after that signing of Glen Johnson. Though to be honest, I wouldn't be suprised if Arsenal are closer this year, just can't wait!

yeah until i see quotes from mascherano and alonso saying their gonna leave i wont be thinking too much into that. agree that chelsea could be favourites.
agree with matt on valencia, reminds me of the nani signing. but dont compare michael owen to bellion thats just wrong =p. he could stay fit and bag you 20 goals. then utd fans will be hailing fergies genius again. its a shame cus i do like owen, but not really utd, so i dunno what i want to happen.

can't really loose with owen
if he does f*ck all or gets injured then we could sell him on for a profit anyway, and he won't get paid much unless he does score
win win

still can't believe owen gone to man united - prob sink in when he comes off the bench in a dozen games and win the game for you lot
my hopes for us lot - is 1st - sign some fuckers! we signed this kid from france but that was done midway through last season
we are prob getting fraizer campbell from you lot, which after the great season he had on loan in our promotion season would be a fantastic signed - the kid a top player, but unproven at this level so fingers crossed browny knows what hes doing
we almost fortune but he'd rather play in a boring 2 horse race up north in glasgow as opposed to play week in week out in the biggest league in the world - good to see hes ambious eh
just like last season - my target is to survive again - thats all we can hope for after the end of the last season - i'd much rather us start terrible and have the great run at the end - but we'll see
we need about 5 or 6 players tho and we got no one yet

cant call the prem the biggest league in the world, which is a shame. something about spain just attracts the big players doesnt it.
as for preston, i love irvine and the team but unless we get a goalscorer i see mid table mediocrity and the loss of irvine to a readingish club.

well la liga prob just a bit better but it terms of overall quality/stadiums/fan base etc the premier league does have it
shame about you lot preston - always thought you would get in the premier league - I remember when we were slowly going through the divisions you got so close every season but never got there in the end
don't worry mate - if we can get there, anybody can

Not sure how well Owen will do at Utd. I can see Chelsea winning this season, Man City will get a top 4 finish as well. As for my team Port Vale, we've got a new manager Micky Adams and I will take a top half finish becuase we've got alot of the shit players we had last season.

city aint finishin top 4 this season. as chelsea have shown with the likes of shevchenko, deco and more, if a player signs for you for the wrong reasons, they aint gonna perform. look for 5 goals a season from santa cruz n barry losing his england place.
