I'm going this Saturday. I've seen Answering Machine live a few times around Manchester. I like them. Very different sound to Twisted Wheel though.
The Heartbreaks are supporting The View at Academy tomorrow.

Good gig last night apart from the few skin heads who cannot handle their booooze
Few new songs which sounded good, will be interesting to hear them again
Detroit Social Club were good too, caught the end of their set and they have deffo got better from when I saw them in liverpool, picked up a CD they were handing out, 4 tracks on it but not a clue what they are apart from sunshine people which I think is there new single and "silver" which is knackered and doesn't work (guess thats why it were a free CD)

looks like a dodgy set they decided hand out for free ha
think the tracks are 1. Sunshine People 2. Silver 3. Forever Wonderland 4. I Am Revolution
loads of united fans there, saw an argentina flag too, city fans only bothered to chant at the end, always football chants at the manchester gigs for greater manc bands is weird really, nothing to do with it but everyone is wankered and dnt give a shit, similar with the manchester la, la, la,

Gig was good although the amount of absolute pricks in the audience (most of them under 16 years of age) ruined it slightly for me.
