After browsing around the forums, I realize I might be one of the few if not the only fan from the US on this site.
But I thought I'd take a chance at seeing if anyone would be seeing the Courteeners at Coachella?
COACHELLA!!!!!!!! :]
Sadly I'm going all by my lonesome and it would be nice to meet other Courteeners fans at the three day festival.
I'm from southern california and I have not met one person who's heard of them.
Needless to say I've been spreading Courteeners like nobody's business.

I live in WeHo. Still on the fence about going to Coachella. Im still hoping for that "Moz/Courteeners-L.A. gig" to be announced. I dont see how there would be no actual L.A. gig. Might just go to Frisco on the 18th and see them there.
Anyone heard of any L.A gigs?

not heard of any yet. good friend of mine lives in seattle and is itching to see them, although he said he would be prepared to do a frisco show

I was prepared to skip Coachella and drive up north to Oakland to catch them at a more intimate gig with Moz the day after Coachella. Now someone on morrissey-solo has just posted that Courteeners WILL NOT be playing with Moz at the Saturday Oakland gig. So it looks like us L.A. fans are fucked and now our only chance to see the lads is to succumb to Coachella. ANYONE KNOW IF THE LADS WILL DO A SEPARATE L.A. GIG AFTER COACHELLA? IF SOMEONE HAS CONNECTIONS WITH THE BAND, PLEASE ASK. |

hmm , took me agess to get it working!! If you've installed the programme then check if your Java is running or something, cause thats what i did and it worked!  Theyy played . . urm . . . Acrylic Good times are calling Please Don’t Sycophant Kings of the new road That Kiss Not Nineteen Forever What Took You So Long Think that was it but i can't remember! It still should be up there, try it again?  Audio was really good, picked up some of Sycophant and Good Times Are Calling lyrics |

I caught the end of Sycophant and then the rest of the set...did nobody manage to record it or awt? If I was thinking I'd have whacked Audacity on, didn't even enter my head really. Proper good set though, they seemed to go down a lot better with the Yanks than a lot of British bands I've seen at Coachella

No problem  And, yeah they did seem to go down pretty well didn't they! The site mentions something about 'highlights' from the festival being on there once it's over, so there may be a couple of songs on? Lets hope so eh! |

Yanks are beasts when it comes to gig footage, they deliver every time. If only some kind soul will post the profesional footage from last night
